For those of us who get caught up in WORRYING WHAT OTHER PEOPLE MIGHT BE THINKING ABOUT US – whether we’re saying the right things, sounding smart or clever enough, whether we’re doing enough, looking attractive or presentable or respectable enough or whether we have something in our teeth – if we could just remind ourselves more often…
~ HOW RARELY people really focused on – or even remembered – what others are doing (or have done in the past), how they look (or looked) at any particular event or interaction, the minutiae of what they’re saying (or said long ago) in a conversation or even a presentation, or whether the words they chose were the best ones to use, *and*
~ HOW MUCH MORE people are keeping themselves busy in their own heads – focusing on themselves, their own plans, things they’re doing / will be doing soon / they dream of doing someday, their fears and uncertainties, along with their own concerns about what we’re thinking…
…we might feel more at peace in each moment, and just get on with being ourselves, speaking our mind, and doing what we love – with more authenticity than fear. ❤
