A RIVER LOOKS MUCH THE SAME AT ANY MOMENT from a distance, a little like how we might view our days, or even ourselves: much the same from one day to the next.

But even though the river appears nearly identical on the surface from moment to moment, in truth it is in no way still.

In every moment the water and sediment are shifting and mixing – no two cross-sections would be the same if taken at the same spot just a nanosecond later.

We, too, are shifting all the time, and much is happening under the surface for each of us, as well:

~ we absorb, interpret and learn from the unique interactions and experiences we’ve had – however seemingly innocuous or mundane,

~ we integrate things we’ve heard others say and emotions we’ve felt and the thoughts that come through our mind – sometimes dwelling and ruminating on them, and sometimes letting them pass by, and

~ we notice the messages coming up into our awareness from our inner wisdom, our intuition…

…all of which is shaping us and sparking us to grow.

Wishing you a day of remembering that you are never quite the same from one moment to the next. Inviting you to become aware – with humility – that you are so much more knowledgeable and advanced than you were only yesterday. ❤
